about
An independent private institution established to undertake the practice of commercial mediation and arbitration at both the international and regional levels, as a legal means of resolving disputes according to the will of the parties and their agreement. The Academy's Board of Trustees includes a group of prominent scholars and jurists in international arbitration in the Arab world. We aim to qualify a new generation of Arab arbitrators and qualified cadres to work in this sensitive field, through continuous and advanced training using the latest scientific and technological techniques, and by a group of specialized law professors and arbitrators.
Vision
Regional and international leadership in economic and commercial dispute settlement services. This step comes in response to global economic and technological developments, the information and communication revolution of the third millennium, and its impact on all local and global economies. Given the contractual relationships and investments that these economies involve and the disputes that may arise from them, there is a growing preference for settling such disputes outside of local courts and their lengthy procedures to save time and effort and in line with the will of the parties to the contract and the dispute.
The International Academy of Mediation and Arbitration was established to support the arbitration industry in the Arab world as a natural way to settle disputes arising from international trade and investment contracts, whether local or international. The Academy aims to be a strong force in supporting justice in the Arab world.

- Attract Arab businessmen and companies to settle their disputes at the Academy's Arbitration Center instead of resorting to foreign arbitration chambers and centers, which can result in significant financial losses.
- Organize conferences and workshops related to arbitration to contribute to nurturing successive generations of arbitrators and continuously enhancing their skills.
